Arts on the Block recently landed a very big opportunity—a long-term lease on the first floor of the new Silver Spring Library that will double our studio and allow us to open a gallery and store—all run by creative teens and young adults pursuing art and design careers! Over the last year, we planned the new HQ through an amazing collaboration with Full Circle at Hickok Cole. While we wait for our new space to be ready, we popped-up a mosaic workshop on Fenton Street, brought to you by our champions at Peterson Companies.

Come take a look at our large-scale commissions in progress for Montgomery County Department of Transportation and the Lerner Enterprises, and share some creative inspiration for a new artwork at the Chase Bank in Silver Spring. We’ll have a virtual reality tour of the new studio interiors and a chance to try your hand nipping tiles in our mosaic workshop too!
