One Night Pop-Up Exhibition: Saturday, July 13 from 6pm to 8pm

YOUNG MASTERS WITHOUT MASTERS highlights the work of five DC artists, working to create masterful work without acquiring a master’s degree: Tang, Fawna Xiao, John Deardourff, Mel Oppenheim, and Shanice Kirby. The show is a celebration of youth and natural ingenuity, and an exploration of creative intuition. Each of these artists utilizes screenprinting in modern and unique ways, either through unusual media combinations, aesthetics, or processes. These artists have shown their work at local galleries, including Hillyer Art Space, Transformer Gallery, Washington Printmakers Gallery, and other galleries around the country. Located on the same block, Connersmith, Industry Gallery, and G Fine Arts will open their summer shows the same night, creating an art block party.
