Diana Derby took the H Street gallery scene by storm this summer after winning first place in the CITY Gallery Regional Juried show. Her award winning piece “witness #7” captured the horror of the Iraq war seen through the eyes of a child who is standing next to his mother. She will be showing her most recent work at Park Cafe December 12, 2010 through February 12, 2010.
An opening is scheduled for Sunday December 12, 2010 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. On this occasion, patrons have the occasion to sample delicious wines from owner Alcione Vinet’s native Chile.
