Event: Sunday, December 10 from 11-5pm
The Mount Pleasant Artists Collective is turning its Northwest neighborhood into a holiday village for one day only, on Sunday December 10. The event includes a special visit from Santa who will be available for pictures and to hand out free toys to children.
From 11am to 5pm, some five dozen local artisans will line Mount Pleasant Street and Lamont Plaza, selling home décor, paintings, pottery, candles, vintage goods and other items to help fill all your shopping needs. We Are Artistic, a group of local high school kids, will host a card-making table where people can make free cards for the organization Cards For Hospitalized Kids.
Businesses will be lit with holiday lights, a program designed by District Bridges. Hot cider and cocoa will be available for sale and local restaurants will provide a place for weary shoppers to rest their feet and grab a bite to eat. The event is free and open to all.
