The Noma BID has partnered with Albus Cavus, the Fridge and Ready Set DC to bring a stunning array of visual arts exhibits and live music to Zest Fest, a three week-long festival that is coming to a close this week.

The Bistro
Thursday October 21 and Friday October 22 11am to 7pm

On Thursday and Friday, Albus Cavus will present “The Bistro” a pop-up art project in a vacant storefront on 1300 Second ST NE, right next to Pound Coffee at the base of the ATF headquarters and only a stone’s thow away from the New York Avenue Metro.
Both Albus Cavus artists and their students will have work on display.  Alicia Cosnahan, AKA decoy and Chanel Compton, both of whom worked on the John Philip Sousa Mural on Pennsylvania Ave SE, will showcase their work.  Of note will be the work of Jazzy Rock who’s unique prototype of the hand sculpture will be on display.  Antarah Crawley, Mika Altskan and Elliot Richeer are among the Albus Cavus students whose work will be on display.
In addition to showing an affinity for the visual arts, these same students are also all band members who will be performing at the cave on Saturday.
