Leather, Metal, Cardboard is an exhibition about materials. The matter from which a thing is or can be made. Each artist cultivates an intimate relationship with their materials, establishing a framework of interpretation revolving around materiality. Featuring Chase DeForest (leather), Chris Bohner (metal), and Elisabeth Jacobsen (cardboard).
Chase DeForest is a local artist with her studio at Pyramid Atlantic in Hyattsville, MD., Chris Bohner is a local artist with his studio at Otis Street Arts Project in Mount Rainier, MD., and Elisabeth Jacobsen is our out-of-town artist with her studio at Penn South in Manhattan, NY.
