Potomac Valley Watercolorists Fall 2020 Exhibition

The Potomac Valley Watercolorists are pleased to announce their Fall Online Watercolor Exhibition which will run October 15 – December 31, 2020. This dynamic and inspirational exhibition brings together some of the area’s top watermedia painters in an exploration  of the diversity of watercolor. Over 175 original  paintings by 92 talented artists will be on display. The show is free to the public and can be viewed online, beginning October 15, 2020 at potomacvalleywatercolorists.org/pvwfallexhibit.

“Potomac Valley Watercolorists has a long history of exhibiting fine art paintings for the enjoyment of others,” says PVW’s Exhibits Chair Leigh Fulton. “We hope our Fall exhibition brings joy, beauty and hope to those who view it.”

The juror for this year’s event is Donna Zagotta. Active professionally for more 20 years, Donna is a nationally recognized artist, teacher, and juror. She has accumulated numerous awards and is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, and Midwest Watercolor Society. Her work appears in numerous publications and can be seen on the cover of Watercolor Expressions and The Artist’s Magazine.

  • Baltimore Watercolor Society Award – Karen Norman

  • Virginia Watercolor Society Award – JoAnne Ramsey “Blue Silk”
  • Second Place – Vita Sims “Moonshine on Blueberry Hill”
  • Third Place – Kathleen Frampton “Sundown on Center Street”
