It’s a new year, and Washington Printmakers has a new gallery! 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Horoscope of the Moon, and this animal is the luckiest in the 12-year cycle.

Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope. People born in the Year of the Rabbit are believed to be vigilant, witty, quick-minded and ingenious.

Washington Printmakers hopes for the same with their new beginning at Washington Printmakers Gallery, now located at 1675 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC. They have twice the exhibition space and a dedicated studio for workshops and lectures. Their outdoor patio will be a space of sun and stars as they spill outside during receptions.

Come and join them for New Beginnings, which exhibits the hand pulled and digital prints, and the fine art photographs created by each of our artist members.

They hope that you enjoy this artwork which reflects their personal views of rebirth and new vistas.

Gala Celebration of WPG’s New Location is located at 1675 Wisconsin Ave. NW.
