11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Early Childhood Arts Workshop
WATERS of our World:
A Music and Movement Workshop for Families
Where does water come from? Why does it fall from the clouds? How does it flow, swirl, and splash as it races across the ground? Join Inner City-Inner Child teaching artist Becky Lallande for a morning of imaginary splashing and drip-dropping as we sing and move together like the clouds and rivers, dancing through the science of the water cycle. Open up your umbrella and put on your water wings, because this is going to be one wet and wild imaginary journey!

Recommended for children ages 2-6, but everyone is welcome!

Everyone receives a FREE book to take home at the end of the workshop.

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Back-to-School Pencil Cases & Photo Drawings:
All-Ages Family Art Workshop
You’re back in school but do your school supplies represent the true you?! Decorate a pencil case to match your unique personality, and then create a photo drawing of you doing your favorite fall activity.

This Saturday, it’s all about you and what makes YOU so special!

The Project Create Studio is located at 2028 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE 2nd Floor (Diagonal from the Big Chair, entrance on V Street SE, second floor above Mama’s Kitchen). For inquiries, please email programs@projectcreatedc.org or call (202) 889-0655.
