In the chill of January and February, a warm welcome is assured at the Winter Winds show now on display at Reston Art Gallery and Studios. Through February 27 this art show features paintings in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, mixed media collage, metal mobiles, and more, depicting the season’s sentiments in realism and in abstract through the creativity of the gallery’s eight artists. Winter Winds is open to all on weekends from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and can also be viewed by appointment at other times. At any time, much of the art can be viewed through the gallery’s glass façade, along with the chance of seeing artists at work in their studio space on site. .

Upcoming in March, a new variety of works will be presented in the Artist’s Invitational Exhibit at Reston Art Gallery and Studios, featuring the RAGS collective and artists who have received a special invitation to participate in this annual show.
