Opening Reception: Wednesday, June 5 from 6pm to 7:30pm
In recent years there has been a resurgence of concern about global climate change and its possible future impacts. Numerous movements have developed around the globe as future voters fight to influence the powers that be toward a better future for the planet. Although art may appear to have a small impact on this fight, it can serve as a starting point for conversation and change. The artists of UN/Sustainable explore concerns about sustainability and the impact of policy on nature, those whose culture and livelihood rely heavily on the earth, and humanity as a whole.
UN/Sustainable presents one of the many questions that we as global citizens must answer:
Are our ways of existing sustainable?
