The art of dance photography is about capturing the perfect, evanescent balance of light and shade on a body in motion. Chan and Emerson are leaders in the DC community of dance photography, with close ties to many local dance companies, and their work has been featured in materials from performing arts venues across the region, leading dance publications such as Dance Magazine, and The Washington Post.
