Opening Reception: Saturday, August 24 from 5pm to 7pm
This exhibition is a look back at my work from eighteen years in Santa Fe and more recent images from my return to the East coast. Whether carving images from the enchanting weeds of New Mexico – where vegetation somehow survives the unconditional indifference of Mother Nature – or from the glorious swamps of the East, I am bound to open my eyes to the music and visual chant of the natural world and to celebrate the complex wonder of this life. At any rate, in my 80th year the journey and the footprints continue.
