Torpedo Factory Art Center’s perennial favorite exhibition and art sale, March150, returns to Target Gallery for the 12th year. Proceeds benefit future exhibitions and programs at Target Gallery and the Art Center. Public sales are Sunday, March 13, through Sunday, April 10, 2021. Torpedo Factory Art Center is located at 105 N. Union St. More information and tickets for the Opening Art Party can be found at

All work in the exhibition is created on uniform, gallery-supplied 10” x 10” panels and is priced at $150. With more than 100 original works on view, there is something for everyone’s tastes and aesthetics. Professional, emerging, and amateur artists participate with artworks featuring a diversity of topics and media, including painting, photography, etching, mixed-media, fiber and more.

March150 has become a staple at the Art Center and people look forward to it all year,” said Leslie Mounaime, curator of exhibitions at Torpedo Factory Art Center. “This exhibition is a low-pressure environment for both artists and patrons. It encourages new collectors to buy original art, exposes seasoned collectors to new local artists and sets the stage for artists to test new techniques and ideas. It is accessible and affordable.”

March150 kicks off with the Opening Art Party on March 12, 7 – 9 p.m. Work is discounted for this opening celebration at $100. Those with VIP passes have first pick of art sales, with an hour of early access starting at 6 p.m. Visitors can build a wish list, but not make purchases, starting Friday, March 11, through Saturday, March 12, at 5 p.m.

Art Party tickets are $30 for general admission. VIP tickets, which offer first access to art sales, are $50.

Target Gallery is partnering with the Factory Society, an independent young-patrons group, for the Art Party. Catering is provided by Simply Fresh with a cash bar.

On Sunday, April 10, the last day of the exhibition, all unsold artwork is priced at $100 as part of the Cherry Blossom Jubilee.
