Teddy Johnson is a Virginia born artist native based in Baltimore MD. Teddy’s paintings play with the traditions of Western Art to explore storytelling, history, perception, and culture. He has had solo shows in MD, VA, GA, and NYC. He has a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, a MFA from The Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, and two semesters of study in Cortona, Italy. He is an assistant professor of Painting, Drawing, 2-D Design and the director of the CADE Gallery at Anne Arundel Community College. The exhibition is curated by Jon West-Bey.
