The Arts Club of Washington Presents Capturing Light with Color

The Arts Club of Washington presents the Metro Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America’s exhibition, Capturing Light with Color. The group show will be on view February 7th – February 29th with a free public reception on Friday, February 7th from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

This exhibition features the works of 22 of the district chapter’s members and is curated by Dr. Erich Keel (former Head of Education at the Kreeger Museum).

The club’s cooperative Spilsbury Gallery features watercolors by Arts Club member Carol Porter. Participating artists include: Lorna Aldrich, Ken Bachman, Gloria Benedetto-Brazelton, Camilla Bozzoli, Britt Conley, Marie-B Cilia De Amicis, Vicki Doyle, Susanne Eisinger, Alessandra Figliuoli, Heida Gramchow, Larry Jarvik, Martine Khadr-Van Schoote, Eleanor Lally, Peggy McNutt, Laura Patten, C. Pamela Palco, Denise Shamoun Phalen, Tihomir Petrov, Tanya Roland, June Sherman, Frances Sniffen, Dick Swartz, Lucretia Tanner, Barbara Wright and Jonathan Zuck.

Arts Club galleries are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.
