New exhibit highlights the work of four Virginia women artists; reception Saturday, April 9 from 4-6pm.  Exhibit dates: April 9 – 10, 2022 at The Yellow Barn Studio Gallery

The exhibit will include abstract works and landscapes created during the isolation of the pandemic.  All four artists, who have collaborated on exhibits before and have known each other for ten years, gravitate toward bold color, unusual shapes and a variety of expressive lines. Many of the paintings are large in scale and include pieces of collage which add depth, texture and richness to the surface of the canvases.

Jennifer Duncan is showing abstract works inspired by natural forms found in local landscapes.  Her work can also be seen at Studio Gallery DC, in other juried DMV exhibits, and at the Artists’ Atelier in Great Falls, Virginia, where she has been teaching painting and collage since 2010.
