Join Zoë Charlton and Tim Doud as they talk with Bay Area performance artist Bobby English.
Bobby English, Jr. creates empowering yet self-destructive performances inspired by world mythologies, ancestry, identity, dreams, and the dualities of nature. He was born in Randallstown, MD in 1989. He studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. He received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2011. English lives and works in San Francisco. Since his first exhibition in 2011, English’s work has been shown in Nationally including exhibitions in Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Richmond, VA, San Francisco, CA and Miami Fl.
‘sindikit is a project space created by DC-based artists Zoe Charlton and Tim Doud to support experimental work, to promote practice-based research, and to foster art-centered conversations.
