Event: Saturday, May 25 from 11am to 2pm

The Friends of Peirce Mill, Washington Studio School and the National Park Service are pleased to announce the Art Barn Reunion and Landscape Meet-up, a free public program, on Saturday, May 25 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park.

In the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, the carriage house at Peirce Mill was known as the Art Barn. At this much beloved local landmark, artists exhibited their work and taught classes for children and adults.  This spring, we’re bringing the Art Barn back—at least for a day!

People of all ages are invited to join us on Saturday, May 25 to draw and paint en plein air in beautiful Rock Creek Park. Bring your own art supplies–or borrow some of ours. The event is free, and open to all–no reservations required.

Peirce Mill is located at 2401 Tilden Street NW in Rock Creek Park, a short walk from the UDC/Van Ness metro station.  More information and directions can be found here.
