“You’d be hard pressed to find a more beautiful place to learn to paint then the five story brick row house that contains the Washington Studio School. A spinoff of the nearby Phillips collection, the local nonprofit also offers drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture in the 1909 mansion’s sun-drenched rooms.” -Sadie Dingfelder, Washington Post Express
