Join Wild Hand Workspace for a screening and discussion with filmmaker Erica R. Harding.
This short film is an ethnographic piece filmed in Honduras, Central America. It delves into the history, culture, and social issues of an Afro-Indigenous Group that has existed since the early 1800s. The film explores their transnational issues and the importance of keeping a vibrant culture alive.
About Erica Harding/The World In a Lens: a resident of Washington, DC, with Jacksonville, Florida roots, Erica Harding has been published in The Inter-American Development Bank magazine, Connexio. She graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a B.A. in Mass Media Arts and a Master’s in International Studies from Ohio University, with a focus on Latin American Studies. She is passionate about cultural research and most of all sharing her experiences through film. When she’s not honing her photography skills you can find her researching new topics to cover for documentary films.
