A series of mixed-media paintings by Rushern Baker IV on view at HEMPHILL Fine Arts is inspired by the artist’s consternation at our nation’s current social and political crises. In Post-World, Baker has created a series of destruction landscapes centered on the idea of death and rebirth offering the viewer a glimmer of hope for the future.
