Transformer – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Transformer presents their first installment of E12: Social Practice. Artist Amy Hughes Braden’s work will be featured at the first reception for this mentorship program. For more information, click here.

Friday, July 24

DC Arts Studios – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Join DC Arts Studios for a pop up art exhibition featuring 13 member artists. Visitors will be able to partake in extended happy hour prices on food and drinks with a $10 donation. For more information and to RSVP, click here.

Workingman Collective – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Workingman Collective will present their final SATELLITE public event with a video projection piece compiling the work of several participating artists. For details, click here.

Anacostia Community Museum – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Jeffrey McClurken presents about the narrative evolution of film representations of the Civil War. Some films discussed in this discussion are Gone with the Wind, Birth of a Nation, Glory, and Lincoln. For more details, click here.
