Classes start September 30, 2019.
WSS is pleased to announce their Fall Term schedule of classes and workshops. Choose from 30 classes and workshops designed for artists of all levels. In addition to the regular schedule of beginning-to-advanced level drawing, painting and sculpture classes, WSS is also offering beginning-to-advanced watercolor, abstraction, 2-D Design, and color theory among other offerings. Highlights include:
- A 6-week museum-based class ‘Before and After Ninth Street – At the Museum’ accompanies ‘9th Street on S Street,’ a class that will channel the working methods of five women who changed the landscape of modern painting;
- A special 3-day workshop with extraordinary California-based painter, Gage Opdenbrouw. WSS will host a free artist talk by Opdenbrouw, ‘Painting the Ephemeral/Finding Presence’ on Friday, November 8 at 7pm;
- Celebrated Philadelphia-based artist Martin Campos returns for a 3-day workshop focused on anatomy.
