Upcycled Soap Box Book

In this introductory bookbinding class by Bel Mills, students will learn how to turn that ordinary little box into an extraordinary little blank book with a hand-stitched spine. Zoom+Make: Suminagashi Marbling

Suminagashi-style paper marbling is the centuries-old process of painting on water. Ink is floated on the water’s surface and swirled around using breath and brushes. Paper is set on top of the water’s surface, resulting in swirling patterns and organic designs. learn more & register

Join us for this fun evening where you’ll learn how to both finesse the printing technique and pronounce the word, Pochoir, which is French for “stenciling” and was a popular printing method from the late 19th century through the 1930s. Intro to Marbling on Paper

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of traditional paper marbling, including both combed and stone patterns. The history of marbling will be discussed, along with how to make tools and the materials needed for marbling on your own. Hand-Carved Typography and Letterpress

In this exciting one-day workshop, students will draw and carve a letter (or other design) on a linoleum block then learn how to print it using Pyramid’s Vandercook proofing presses.
