In this class, students will be introduced to the principles of drawing portraits. We will discuss how to simplify and interpret the shapes and structures of the face in order to attain accurate proportions and values. The instructor will demonstrate in charcoal each day, and students will have time to work from a live model. All levels are welcome, and students will receive individualized feedback to help them progress at their own pace.
