Ed Bisese, a local artist whose work has been shown nationally, will guide students in experiments with images of faces. Students will experiment by drawing with different materials, making their own textures for use in collage and by using found images. Through Projects like the Scotch Tape Trap, Blind Contour, and Noodle/Doodle students will create work based on experiments with face proportions and the basic rules for naturalism, found faces and changes in expression, and the invented and imaginary face.
The class runs Mondays 7 pm to 9 pm January 16 through February 20
