Fridays, May 3, 17, and 24 – Working From the Figure Drop-In Figure Drawing
The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop hosts drop-in Working from the Figure sessions on Fridays, May 3, 17, and 24, 2019 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at 545 7th Street, SE. Work on drawings or paintings in front of a live model in a session without formal instruction, facilitated by artist Will Fleishell. Please bring your own drawing materials. Easels are available. Conquer the thrilling challenge of juggling with veteran juggler Christian Kloc at a drop-in Juggle Jam workshop on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, 545 7th St, SE. The evening begins with a short demo, moves into some goofy warm-ups, then puts juggling props in your hands and offers pro tips to jump-start your newfound circus habit. All ages welcome and equipment is provided. Wear comfortable clothes that allow relaxed movements. Minimum donation of $5 with all proceeds going towards CHAW’s tuition assistance program. The Capitol Hill Art League presents an all-media art exhibit Artists’ Pick opening Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, 545 7th St, SE.
