Samuel Burt:
Baltimore MD composer Samuel Burt, who’s musical concentration is primarily in clarinet and daxophone. (an electric, wooden experimental instrument of the friction idiophones category, created in 1987) Mr. Burt received his Master’s degree in composition and computer music at the Peabody Institute and he is also a member of the influential experimental music collective, High Zero Foundation. Joining Sam on stage will be James Young, a Texas ex-pat currently working in Baltimore. James is currently the Executive Director of Mind on Fire,a modular classical music ensemble, focused on living composers and creative collaborations.

This duo consists of Baltimore musicians Jessica Keyes (Bedlam Brass) and April Camlin (Wume) that create an experiential sound space which incorporates gradual repetition, molding the energy in the room with the goal of building towards an ecstatic, trance-like music, striving toward a communal adventure with the audience.

Resonant Space will be providing artistic visual stimulation and the legendary Maryland Meadworks will be selling their timeless mead.
