January 18, 2014 – “The Second Class” – $150

Prior to the class, we will work with you to design a project using your own images. During the class, you will complete the screenprint. You will also have the benefit of seeing how other students in the class put together their projects. The workshop will run from 11am – 2pm on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Workshop Price = $150.

January 26, 2014 – Introduction to Screenprinting workshop – $130
The “Introduction to Screenprinting” workshop is for anyone who has never printed before and for people who may have some basic screenprinting experience but want to refresh their skills. The workshop will run from 11am – 2pm, on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 11am -2pm. Open Studio dc will supply a variety of images to work from. Workshop price = $130.

Workshops are filled on a first come, first serve basis. The maximum class size is 5 students. Advance payment is required to hold your place in the class – this is a new policy due to frequent last minute cancellations for classes with waitlists. Payment may be made by credit card through PayPal or with a personal check. There are no refunds for missed classes but if illness or an emergency comes up, you may reschedule for another class. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on – the inks are permanent when they dry.

Open Studio dc is located at 1348 Florida Avenue NE. For more information visit their website atopenstudiodc.com. Email Carolyn Hartmann at Carolyn@openstudiodc.com if you wish to sign up for a workshop.
