Introduction to Bookmaking: Sewn Structures

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of bookbinding, including appropriate materials and tools needed to make your own notebooks, journals, or albums. This workshop will cover painting and collage with wax, fusing and carving the medium, as well as how to incorporate personal drawings, papers, prints, and photos into the artwork.

Mokuhanga is the traditional Japanese art of water-based woodblock printmaking.
