11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Inner City – Inner Child Early Childhood Arts Workshop
Alphabetisimo: An Interactive Shadow Puppet Workshop for Families

Summertime is all about playing in the sun, but playing with the shadows is just as fun!  Join your friends at Inner City-Inner Child as we learn about the alphabet through Shadow Puppets. Teaching artist Natasha Mirny will lead us in a fabulous shadow-puppet theater performance of Alphabetisimo. Be amazed as the letters of the alphabet go on an exciting journey inside and outside their magical house of light! We will learn ways to recall all our letter friends, and even make letter puppets of our own. Come beat the heat with your 26 new best friends!

Recommended for children ages 2-6, but everyone is welcome.

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Summer Sunny Fun! Mixed Media All-Ages Family Art Workshop

Make family friendship bracelets, decorate some summer gear, play summer-themed charades, enjoy our photo booth, and try out some yoga! All in one exciting Family Art Day with Project Create Teaching Artist Hayley Cutler!
