Summer Camp 2021 will be held at the Project Create Arts Center in Anacostia.
Project Create will be taking necessary COVID precautions to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Due to distancing requirements, spots are very limited.
Due to limited spots, we are asking that only students who can commit to attend the full 6 weeks register.
Lunch is included daily. (Dietary restrictions will be accommodated to the best of our ability, but we can’t guarantee every request.)
Families are required to participate in a virtual orientation where they will share details about the camp schedule, policies, procedures, and answer questions you may have! When registering, you will select the time you plan on attending Virtual Orientation on Thursday, June 24th.
Questions? Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from their team will get back to you.
Students will learn how to think visually and see the world through the lens of an artist by using different methods and techniques along with their own imagination.
Ages 14 – 24
Imagine an art show with no walls or boundaries towards how your artwork can be showcased. In this time of artists claiming their own rights to works and the world of NTF (Non-fungible token – digital artwork sold online), getting ready to understand how to tap into the virtual world will not only create artwork and showcase them on the internet, but you will create a virtual showcase for anyone to explore, experience and dive into. This in-person class will help you get one step closer to the future of showcasing your work virtually. You will still be creating physical work but it will have both a physical and virtual home. If you are confused or curious and want to know more, join Live 2 Virtual.
Music Video Academy
Ages 14 – 24
If you have ever been interested in music videos, now is your chance to be a part of the action by joining an actual music video production team. In this class, students will plan out and finish several music videos from beginning to end.
