Gelatin Plate Printmaking
September 12, 6:30–9:30pm | $75
Create beautiful, unique prints in minutes without a press using Akua waterbased inks, Golden Open acrylics, and Gelatin plates. We will utilize a variety of materials including painting tools, stencils, and natural and found objects. Learn how to make soft cover journals using side binding techniques. Also known as Japanese stab binding, this simple yet versatile structure is unique in that it is bound with flat sheets of paper rather than folded leaflets. Woodblock Printed Flag Banners

Porch season is still running strong. To celebrate, we’ll be making hand-printed fabric banners. Learn to print from a hand-carved sunny wood block with your choosing of colorful fabric and ink.
