The Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum Hosts Preservation Celebration

Event: Thursday, April 28 from 10am to 2pm


Join the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum on Thursday, April 28th, 2016, between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. as they celebrate National Preservation Week. Visitors are encouraged to bring in their own keepsakes for personalized preservation tutorials with their Preservation and Collections team. The staff will also bring out artifacts from NPM’s collection storage to show examples how they store treasures in their own collection. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to play a fun game identifying the Agents of Deterioration.
