In this online springtime workshop students will have the opportunity of studying outdoor spaces and exterior architecture inspired by famous artists and styles. Assignments will encourage observation of cityscapes, window/porch views, blossoming gardens and more! This online workshop welcomes the warm weather by looking at the human figure in outdoor settings. Famous works of art will inspire exercises that introduce drawing the human form and its outdoor surroundings. Lessons on observation, human proportions and portraiture will help you improve your technical skills and gain the confidence needed to create fun and creative portraits at home. Hooked on tik tok? Teaching artist extraordinaire Heather Whyte will lead weekly online movement sessions. The best part is you can enjoy it from your own home. Intro to Acrylics with MK Bailey

Four weeks (4/20 – 5/11)
This online class is a thorough introduction to acrylic painting. Over the course of a month students will learn the basic techniques of acrylic painting and practice their new skills on fun still lifes. This class is great for developing foundational painting skills, and prepares students to join MK’s Intermediate Acrylics class.
