Courtesy of Transformer.Transformer presents COLLECT & GATHER, a month-long group exhibition and programming series highlighting the artists and artwork of Transformer’s FlatFile program.
Led by FlatFile artist Amy Hughes Braden, the exhibition will feature a rotating selection of artworks from Transformer’s FlatFile and weekly drop-in creative workshops on Saturdays led by additional FlatFile artists, Maps Glover, Christopher Kardambikis and Jessica Speckhard. Stop in, gather round, and spend some time with Transformer and the FlatFile.
ABOUT THE FLATFILE PROGRAM
Initiated in 2007 specifically to support and connect emerging DC-based artists, Transformer’s FlatFile Program, consists of more than 200+ works in a variety of two-dimensional mediums including photography, painting, drawing and printmaking, sized at or below 16×20″, & priced under $500.
