Bilingual Art Explorers/Exploradores del Arte
Course# 365414 Saturdays, Jan. 22 – Feb. 12. (4 weeks)
10:30am – 12:30pm Ages 5 – 10
Learning art is a great way for children to develop many important skills, and in this case, also to learn language. This bilingual art class will be taught in both English and Spanish and is appropriate for children who speak either language. Students will explore a range of topics and media while having fun creating art.

Art Explorers

Learning art is a great way for children to develop cognitive skills, creative thinking, and hand-eye coordination. Art Explorers students will explore a range of topics and media while having fun creating art.

6:00 – 8:00pm Ages 13 & Up
Learn hands-on using the namesake software of contemporary image editing. Create and build skills utilizing the computer as an art and photography tool. This class is a two class sequence. Enrollment in one section is not required for enrollment in the other.

Drawing (1 & 2)

Learn or practice the skills and fundamentals of drawing from observation. Instruction will be individualized to each student’s abilities. Bring pencils and large drawing pad to the first class; a supply list will be provided at that time. This class is a two class sequence. Enrollment in one section is not required for enrollment in the other.

Contemporary Collage Workshop

Learn materials, techniques and 21st century approaches for creating art that explores the rich history of collage. In this hands-on class, you will gain a new perspective on developing compositions and content by combining found and created materials and images.

Photographing Art Work

Documenting artwork can be one of the most important and most frustrating steps in a successful business as an artist. Learn essential tips and techniques from one of the region’s foremost photographers.
